Civil & Structural
Scope of the project was to prepare fabrication drawings for steel bridge. The bridge supports the metro train on upper deck, while the lower deck is used as highway for vehicular traffic. Below are some of the activities performed during project work.
- Study of input information provided by fabricator and design consultant.
- Technical verification (drawings point of view) of provided bridge camber details, clarification and resolution of camber related problem from design consultant and fabricator.
- Review of provided lifting, transportation and installation philosophy. Resolution of inconsistent information / details.
- Review of GA and connection details provided, resolution of inconsistent information / details.
- 3D modelling of bridge girders and connections as per provided input.
- Preparation and checking of GA drawings.
- Preparation and checking of fabrication drawings.
- MTO preparation.
- Approval of GA and fabrication drawings from design consultant and fabricator.
